An educational discussion examining the student led lunch counter sit-ins of 1960, the philosophy of nonviolent resistance, and Nashville's pivotal role in the national Civil Rights Movement. The conversation will be moderated by Elliott Robinson of the Civil Rights Room at the Nashville Public Library and feature community leaders and historians, including the Executive Director of John R Lewis Legacy Institute, Jerrick Lewis.
